The customer did business with us exactly 10 years ago when he bought a refurbished SveTruck 16 ton capacity forklift. This time the customer was looking for a good-as-new, second-hand 25 ton capacity forklift with immediate delivery – and above all with all essential parts fully refurbished. The choice was a well-kept SveTruck 25120-42 from 1987. The machine was completely dismantled and underwent a full check-list controlled refurbishment including overhaul of engine, transmission, mast and steering axle. Finally the machine was painted in brand new SveTruck red/white paint & livery.
UnikTruck was able to supply directly from the shelf within 15 days from date of ordering including switch of mast from high to low mast. The forklift was quickly adapted to the specific application and was delivered with one of UnikTruck’s five dedicated Volvo FH heavy low-loaders including on-site testing and instructions. The forklift fleet was delivered and put into operation in August 2016. The three SveTruck forklifts were refurbished thoroughly in our dedicated workshop in Hamburg before delivery. The requirement of the customer was fully refurbished second-hand equipment in high quality and with an immediate delivery time. UnikTruck was able to match this requirement with all three 25 ton SveTruck being in stock.

The Hyster heavy-capacity forklift is equipped with a special built forkpositioner & sideshift carriage with quick-exchange system enabling the forklift to operate with various forks and attachments. The majestic heavy capacity Hyster forklift will be used for dedicated handling of sloped concrete elements used in the construction of tunnels.

The unit was dismantled in 1 big self-propelled piece and transported on our in-house heavy-low-loader to the site. The lifting mast, carriage and forks were transported on one of our other in-house lorries. The big Hyster forklift is now awaiting delivery of special fork pockets with vulkollan surface used to prevent damage on the concrete surface. The unit will go into daily operation in early September 2016.

PDI and final quality-testing was performed by in-house specialists before departure to Norway. The unit was on stock at time of first contact and so UnikTruck was able to deliver this turn-key solution in only 10 days after initial contact. Consequently we have just purchased one Volvo FH16-750 heavy duty tractor with 5 axles with one Noteboom Euro 104-24 low-bed trailer with 4+2 axles.This will enable us to deliver any combination and size of materials handling machine imaginable. This is our 5th in-house lorry combination and this vehicle will be used for pan-european deliveries of heavy duty machines from 25 – 52 tons capacity, which corresponds to dead weights ranging from 30 to 85 tons.

This new combination will make it’s virgin voyage to Norway in a few days time, in order to deliver a brand new 52 ton Hyster forklift to one of our new customers.
